Gwen Mariani is a writer, an inventor, and a student of the spiritual arts. She lives in Waterford, Connecticut with her husband, two sons, and three dogs. Whether she is designing a new project, writing poetry, brainstorming her next story line, or enjoying time with her family and dogs, Gwen enjoys a quiet life that keeps her grounded and inspired to connect with others through her work.

Drawing inspiration from nature, animals, and the challenges many face in life, her hope is to inspire others to live an authentic, soulful life, reaching beyond their limitations and growing as individuals. A writer of poetry and affirmation since childhood, she is pleased to have now released her first novel, The Growing-Tree, and her first children’s book, Lizzi Light the Star Fisher. With lots of thought and care, she’s made each very powerful in their own way.

The Growing-Tree went on to become a 2019 Best Book Awards Finalist by American Book Fest for Inspirational Fiction.
